Caroline and Matt are huge fans of the holidays. In fact, so much that Matt actually proposed right before Christmas with an engagement ring hidden in a Christmas ornament. So it was only fitting that these two celebrated their wedding on New Year’s Eve.
We officially love New Year’s Eve weddings. The atmosphere is always an extra notch up, and people come ready to party. Plus it’s the one wedding of the year when we allow ourselves to break our self-imposed no-kissing-while-working rule. Once we capture the midnight celebrating, we pause for a “happy new year” kiss of our own before getting back to filming some of the best dancing we see all year.
Not only are Caroline and Matt awesome and a delight to work with, but the same holds true for their families and especially for their bridal party. In fact, we’d go so far as to say that the wedding – and this trailer – were made by the indefatigable awesomeness of Caroline’s bridesmaids and Matt’s groomsmen. Firstly, because they barely stopped singing all day. And we’re talking full-on, top-of-the-lungs singing. Secondly, because when we suggested they pose on the bridal car like they were in a hip-hop music video, they jumped at the chance. And finally because they helped make our first ever videobooth a huge success by rounding up volunteers and leading the way with great messages for the happy couple.
Thanks to Caroline, Matt and their awesome families and friends for letting us ring in 2013 with them. If this trailer is any indication, we can look forward to a great year ahead:

Anddddd I’m crying for these beautiful strangers. Umm I LOVE Caroline and I don’t know her – she did not stop smiling once! And you guys are so good! I love the ending it was by far *one* of my fave endings – with all the different kisses and the music, dancing, smiles, the NYE countdown…it was awesome!
What a beautiful piece of history! Congratulations again!
Another fantastic video! I can’t wait for an excuse to hire you guys! I absolutely love the midnight kissing montage.
Where on earth is this awesome dance floor with the wall of lighting to back them up? It’s so visually stunning. I’m assuming it’s at the venue, and not something they installed themselves.
@Kaitlin – we thought you’d abandon watching our trailers once you had your own, but we’re so glad you keep coming back. And crying!
@Linda – thank you!
@Becky – so hire us already! We’ll find a way to make a cool film that tells your story, whatever that may be. The wall of lighting, I believe, came with the band, Beantown Band. We’re shooting with them again tomorrow so I’ll let you know if it shows up again.
Thanks for a great video..
