Happy Valentine’s Day. We’re having a lovely and oh-so-romantic day already and wanted to share a few high points with you. Plus, read on for the latest progress report from Project ‘Tache.

Even breakfast was romantic this morning

A different approach to presents: Tom goes for socks, Melissa for sex

Already nervous for the "position of the day" on our anniversary

Happy Valentine's Day to my facial hair, love Tom

A closer look at Week #2 of growth

We’re looking forward to dinner at Marliave tonight. We’ve decided this is already our best V-Day yet, considering we don’t usually celebrate it. Rather than overshadowing our upcoming wedding anniversary, it’s the perfect warm-up. And it’s kind of a relief to not be one of those obnoxious, grumpy people who rant about the card companies trying to steal our money.

Hope you have a wonderful Valentine’s Day, no matter what you do.

P.S. I really, really wanted socks. Seriously. I am incapable of buying them for myself and have been begging for them since Christmas. Thanks, honey.

Enjoy your V-day! It’s sort of a strange day for me for various reasons, but mainly Blair and I are just doing some low-key celebrating with cards and small gifts. :)
Hope you guys have a fantabulous dinner out!! Woohoo!
And I’d like socks, too. ;) Blair got some funky J. Crew boxers from moi. ;) I am getting a mix CD in the near future–woot!
Haven’t had one of those in ages, so it’s extra special.

That sex position book looks both hilarious, sexy, and also a bit scary–I don’t think I’m terribly “gymnastic”! HAHA!

She really did want socks. And asked for them. Pointedly, about a week ago.

And what’s more romantic than giving someone what they actually want, rather than something cliched and obvious?

Now I feel like I’m being judged by the blog reading public for socks.

Certainly not judged by this gal! I actually really love socks. Esp. those of the knee-high variety.
